Discuss local emission test results—fail rates, common exceedances, and whether failures are clustered around particulate matter, hydrocarbons, o r CO2.

Data is limited, but from anecdotal reports:

Failure rate estimated at 10–15% for 3-year-old Alsvins during periodic testing.

Most failures are due to:

Excess hydrocarbons HC in city-driven cars.

CO exceedances after 50,000+ km.

Particulate matter PM and CO₂ levels usually remain within limits.

Failures often cluster in cars with poor maintenance o r modified intakes/exhausts.
