How Should IIncreasing Feul economy of MPFI Engine

Please let me know how should I increase feul economy of MPFI 1.0 engine of my Chevy Joy. Current feul consumption is 10-11 km/lit in city

well bro this may be result of long waits in traffic jam or slow driving as far as i know the speed which gives fuel economy is around 80. One more thing new car always comsumes more petrol until i guess engine reaches 1000km even i got my XLI 2 months back and it is giving same average on highway.
besides this other factors like rash driving,too much acceleration also reduces fuel economy
