How to protect car from rusting

Lot of rains in Lahore and my car is parked in open and i am worried as it is getting lot of rust with rain every other day. Any suggestion to protect it rusting especially rims and under the hood. ? It is FX and little used, parked most of the time.

Well bro, I have the following ideas.

1. As a first you should get a polyester cover for your car. A good one would cost you around 250-300.

2. Secondly, you could get your car serviced completely, including the spraying of diesel+oil on the underside and under the hood.

3. Apply a coat of diesel on the paint after washing so that no more rust forms on the parts which are already rusted.

4. Get a touch up of your rims with some spray paint.
