How to seal engines??

How to seal engines??

When we're working on old engines/ transfer cases, like those in old Jeeps, whose seals/gaskets are hard to find, how do we seal them?? I've read that silicone sealants can be used... is it true? If so, how? please respond..

we cant find most of the cars gasket the best way is to take a substitute gasket (which match engine) do little cutting and after that use the silicone which is use to join pressure pipes(temp 350C) and put it in ur car engine head as well as in block then join both if u post this thread little early i will able to give u some pics as well ..as we did this thing in car some time back
