Hybrid Car Suggestion Required

I am considering selling my 2022 MG ZS, which gives me an average of 10km/L, and buying a hybrid model instead. Im thinking of purchasing a hybrid model that is around 15 o r 16 years old. Do you have any recommendations o r should I keep my current vehicle since it is still in new condition?

The choice of car depends on your preferences and needs, such as the size of your family and the category of car you want.

If youre interested in a small car and a hybrid, the Aqua is a reliable option with a good market and parts availability. However, if youre looking for a Vezel, keep in mind that they are prone to regular hybrid issues, and the 2015-2016 models had gearbox problems. The dry dual clutch transmission is not very reliable. However, the Vezel is a premium car to sit in, so if you do decide to get one, opt for a later model to be safe.

Its worth noting that hybrid cars can be challenging to purchase and sell. There are often powertrain issues that arise later on, causing people to sell them. If fuel efficiency is your main priority, consider getting a City o r Yaris. They offer an average fuel efficiency of 14-16 km/l in the city, with AC on. Opt for the 1.3 and 1.2 CVT models, respectively. These cars are also great for resale. Keep in mind that hybrids tend to depreciate in value over time, so its better to save your money.

If you need a compact SUV, the options in the market might not meet your expectations. They could be either inferior, more expensive, o r unreliable. One option worth considering is the Stonic, but its a questionable choice. If you have extra money, the new HR-V might be the car for you, although its booking time is around a year. Another option is the Toyota Raize, a turbo car that offers great mileage. Although its imported, it fits your budget and has many features. The Peugeot 2008 is another option, starting at 54 lakhs. This is a great car, with a stylish design.
