IGNITION CABLE

IGNITION CABLE

Why my ignition cable ( the cable connected between coil and distributor ) keeps on burning every six months. The ignition coil is the one used in alto with the resistance removed. Should i put back the resistance?

i believe you mean the resistor. i believe they put the resistor there for this specific reason, right now you are sending WAY too much voltage through the cable and should be thankful that your cars electrics are still ok.
