Increasing performance

Dear friends I am new in this ring, I hope you guys welcome me and answer my question.

I have Civic EXi AT 2005, with rim 16 in and tyres size 205 55.

Please guide how to increase its performance/horsepower with minimum cost and if possible also tell me the cost involved.

1st of all Most welcome to PW. We will try to answer all of your questions but if not answered question might be beyond our comprehension. So Enjoy yourself while you are here.

As for your question, I cannot seem to fathom your request for power increase, when you bought a EXi instead of VTi, and Auto instead of Manual. Whatever you saved by buying EXi, you are going to spend in mods and more. To me this is not a brite idea. But since you have the car and we are going to try and help you, tell us what kind of power increase are you expecting and based on that we can probably answer you better.

NOs is one way to go but for beginners I would not recommend it, even if it is in safe levels. Any modification you do will reduce your Fuel consumption and possibly even reduce the value of your car and will be less relaible then from the factory. So think about it!
