Info abt Car Modification
Dear All,
I have just started this topic as i hve seen ppl telling they have modified thr car like this and that...but ppl like me who dont know abt cars that much needs to understand few things like if u swapped ur car's engine with some high power engine then what did u do abt suspension and brakes cuz i also wanna modify my cars but dont know abt these things. What is the purpose of the rode normally i hve seen in modified cars under the hood from one shock to another shock (may b i m using wrong terms sorry for that). Please experts do help ppl like me...Akhir humarey bhi jazbaat hain

1. The name of the rod is "Tower Brace" - sometimes also called "Strut-Brace". It is used to limit movement of the suspension mounts relative to each other to limit camber changes when the tires are put under load.
2. If you are putting in a performance engine then you need to look how it'll change the behavior of the car. e.g: Do you need larger brakes to stop the car since it'll move faster, quicker then before etc. It depends on what you want to do with your modification.
You don't modify the car first and determine the purpose of modification later. First you need to define why you want to modify? Then plan you modification and that way you'll know if you need to upgrade brakes, suspension etc etc
