Info needed from experts

we have mb c220 cdi..model 2000...running 1lakh 70
since it is diesel, and i dint ever kept diesel car...i have heard that it has high maintainance...and it has a lot of problems
the one we have in 6 gear manual..with cruise control,electronic seats,cd changer etc etc and has been running great..never gave any problem....
so i want to ask is it worth keeping or wil it give problems..

i have vitz 1999 model..bought 6 months back at 70000 and now it has done 1 lakh...cng fitted and prety roughly used..
around 2 months back its engine light came on...and the heating indicators always remain on at white(cold)..BEFORE{it was once over heated,and i got the fan direct}....now on cng while ac turned ON,it has very low power and turns off by even lightly pressing the pedal..overall pick went down and i canot drive with AC turned ON..
what possibly can be the problem...and from the day these lights came ON,it takes long sulf only when starting in morning
the day the lights came ON,the day before that one,it was perfectly fine and used to start on just indicating the key 2 car...

is any one driving vitz with cng on ac..(if so then how is the pick of car??)
all problem started after the car was heated

it is giving good mileage..around 140kms without ac on almost full cylinder still
morover i change oil at 2000kms ..always keep in check radiator water,fan,batery water,air filter
