Karvaan’s engine may not respond well to 87 RON petrol used in rural areas. Are users educated about using better-quality fuel when needed?

Yes. Knocking pre-detonation is reported especially in:

87 RON fuel areas rural pumps

Hot weather and uphill driving

When AC is on with full load

The Changan engine is sensitive to poor fuel and doesn’t have advanced knock adaptation.

➡️ Recommended fuel is at least 91 RON. Using low-quality petrol leads to knock, poor performance, and long-term damage.
