Is high-octane fuel necessary for better fuel economy in the Hyundai Oshan X7 in Pakistan?

Im confused about whether I should use high-octane fuel regularly in my Hyundai Oshan X7 to improve fuel economy. The user manual recommends RON 91 o r above, but in Pakistan, high-octane is expensive and not always available. Will using regular petrol reduce mileage o r damage the turbo engine? Has anyone seen a clear difference?

No. The recommended minimum octane rating is RON 92, and Pakistani tunings support regular fuel. A PakWheels owner wrote:

Using RON 92 will not harm your engine o r mileage. High-octane fuel won’t noticeably improve economy unless you have a tuned o r modified engine.
