Is it normal for MG HS to leak transmission fluid after 15,000 km?

My MG HS crossed 15,000 km recently, and I found some red fluid stains on my garage floor. The car doesn’t show any warning signs o r shifting problems yet. Could this be an early sign of transmission fluid leakage? How common is this issue with MG HS cars in Pakistan, and what preventive steps can I take?

Transmission fluid leaks within the first 20,000 km are not typical and may indicate a manufacturing defect o r poor assembly. Common causes include:

Faulty seals o r gaskets

Improperly tightened drain plugs

Cracks o r damage in the transmission housing

In Pakistan, some MG HS owners have reported leaks around this mileage. Its best to claim warranty repairs early to avoid worsening the issue. Regularly checking the transmission fluid level and cleanliness is important to prevent transmission damage.
