Is MG HS prone to frequent wheel alignment issues on Pakistani roads?

Ive been experiencing frequent wheel alignment problems with my MG HS, especially after driving on uneven o r poorly maintained roads common in Pakistan. The car starts pulling to one side and the steering wheel feels off-center. Has anyone else faced similar issues with alignment, and is this a known issue with the MG HS suspension o r wheel setup in local conditions?

Yes, frequent wheel alignment issues in MG HS vehicles have been reported by many owners in Pakistan, and several factors contribute to this problem:

Low Ground Clearance and Soft Suspension Setup:
The MG HS has a relatively soft suspension and low ground clearance, which isn’t ideal for the speed bumps, broken patches, and uneven roads common across Pakistani cities and rural areas. This leads to misalignment more frequently than with vehicles designed for rougher terrain.

Impact from Potholes and Speed Breakers:
Even slight impacts from potholes o r poorly designed speed breakers can throw off the alignment. The vehicle may start pulling to one side, o r the steering wheel may not stay centered—both classic signs of alignment issues.

Poor Quality of Service at Some Workshops:
Alignment machines at non-specialist workshops are often outdated o r incorrectly calibrated. MG HS needs precise electronic alignment, and if this isn’t done properly, issues will recur. Some authorized MG service centers also lack expertise, according to user feedback.

Tyre and Suspension Wear:
Worn-out suspension components bushings, tie rods, etc. can cause repeated misalignment. If alignment doesnt hold after each fix, the root issue might be deeper in the suspension system.

What to Do:

Always get alignment done at a reputable service center with modern equipment.

Ask for a suspension inspection if misalignment is frequent.

Avoid hitting potholes and speed breakers at high speed.
