Is rust forming under chipped paint a common issue in the Hyundai Oshan X7 in Pakistan?

After a few paint chips, I’ve started seeing slight rust underneath exposed metal areas. I’m concerned that this could spread quickly. Does Hyundai provide proper corrosion protection on the Oshan X7? What’s the best way to deal with early-stage rust?
