Yes. Especially in dusty o r smoggy cities, the cabin air filter clogs early. A dirty filter restricts AC airflow and can trap moisture, leading to bad odors, dusty air, o r even fungal growth inside the vents. In such areas, the cabin filter should be replaced every 8,000–12,000 km, even if the owner’s manual suggests a longer interval.
