Is the Changan Oshan X7’s turbo engine reliable for long-term use in Pakistan?

Since the Oshan X7 comes with a 1.5L turbocharged engine, I’m wondering if its reliable in the long run, especially in Pakistan’s hot weather and traffic-heavy cities. Are there any known overheating o r durability issues after 50,000+ km?

The Changan Oshan X7 is equipped with a 1.5L turbocharged BlueCore engine, which is generally well-built and delivers strong performance. In Pakistan, this engine has proven to be reliable so far, especially in the first 40,000–50,000 km. However, long-term reliability depends on:

Timely oil changes with fully synthetic oil.

Good fuel quality preferably high-octane every few tanks.

Regular service intervals and cooling system checks especially in summer.

In hot regions like Multan o r interior Sindh, turbo engines can run hotter. So make sure the cooling system radiator, coolant, fan is regularly maintained to avoid overheating.
