Is the electric steering system of the Changan Oshan X7 durable for Pakistani road conditions?

Since the Oshan X7 uses an electronic power steering EPS system instead of hydraulic, I’m wondering how well it holds up on rough roads, bumps, and potholes in cities like Karachi o r rural Punjab. Have there been any failure reports locally?

So far, there have been no widespread complaints of EPS failure in the Oshan X7 in Pakistan. However:

EPS systems are more sensitive to water and voltage issues than hydraulic ones.

In flood-prone o r dusty areas, water o r debris near the EPS motor mounted near the rack can cause long-term damage.

Poor battery maintenance o r jump-starting can also affect EPS modules.

Conclusion: The EPS in the Oshan X7 is generally durable if the battery, suspension, and tires are well-maintained. Avoid deep water and keep an eye out for dashboard warning lights related to steering.
