Is the fuel average of the Oshan X7 really this bad in city driving?
I was expecting better mileage from a 1.5 turbo engine, but I’m barely getting 7–8 km/l in city traffic Karachi/Lahore. Even with careful driving, there’s not much improvement. Is this normal, o r could there be an issue with the ECU o r turbo system?

Unfortunately, many Oshan X7 owners in cities like Lahore, Islamabad, and Karachi report poor city fuel efficiency — around 7–9 km/l, despite the 1.5L turbo engine.
Why this happens:
Heavy curb weight: The Oshan X7 is relatively heavy for a 5-seater crossover.
Turbo tuning: It’s tuned more for performance and responsiveness than economy.
Traffic conditions: Stop-and-go traffic kills mileage, and the 7-speed DCT transmission isn’t as efficient at low speeds.
Tips to improve mileage:
Use light-foot driving and keep RPM below 2,000.
Avoid frequent short trips.
Use good quality fuel RON 92+ if possible.
Maintain tire pressure and get regular tuning.
Highway mileage 12–14 km/l is generally much better, showing the issue is mostly with urban driving.
