Is the MG HSs paint prone to chipping o r fading?

There have been instances where owners noticed chipped paint on the edges of doors o r other areas shortly after purchase. Is this an isolated issue, o r does it point to a broader concern with the vehicles paint quality?

Several users noted chipped paint on door edges o r near bumpers shortly after delivery, which indicates paint quality inconsistencies. On the PakWheels thread, chipped paint was seen on the driver-side door.

Advice:

Inspect all paint surfaces before acceptance, checking for chips, fading, o r uneven finish.

Consider applying protective film PPF on vulnerable edges.

Request paint warranty coverage o r request repainting before taking delivery.
