Is the Oshan X7’s alternator to blame for repeated battery failure?

Is the Oshan X7’s alternator to blame for repeated battery failure?

I’ve replaced the battery twice in 2 years, but it keeps draining. Could it be that the alternator is not charging the battery properly, o r is something else damaging it?

Very likely. A faulty alternator o r voltage regulator can:

Undercharge the battery, leaving it weak and prone to failure.

Overcharge, which overheats and damages battery cells.

Cause inconsistent charging during city driving o r at idle.

Diagnosis:

Use a voltmeter to check battery voltage:

12.6V with engine off healthy battery.

13.8–14.4V with engine running healthy alternator.

If below 13V o r above 14.8V while running, the alternator o r regulator is likely faulty.

Solution:
Visit a trusted mechanic for a full charging system diagnostic before buying a new battery again.
