Is the Proton X70’s width a problem for narrow Pakistani roads and parking spaces?

The Proton X70 has a relatively wide body compared to locally common SUVs. Many drivers in Pakistan are concerned about maneuvering it through narrow streets, congested markets, and older residential areas. Does the vehicle’s width make daily city driving and parking difficult, especially in cities like Karachi, Lahore, and Rawalpindi?

The Proton X70 is quite wide for a C-segment SUV, measuring about 1,831 mm around 6 feet across.

City driving: Some drivers find it a bit bulky on tight roads o r narrow lanes in older urban areas. This can make squeezing past parked cars o r navigating very tight streets slightly challenging compared with smaller crossovers o r sedans.

Parking: Parallel parking o r tight garage entry can feel less nimble than smaller cars — but with parking sensors and camera aids, it’s usually manageable for most drivers.

Bottom line: It’s not excessively large for a family SUV, but if you frequently drive through very narrow alleys, you might notice its width more than with compact cars.
