Is the standard 5-speed manual transmission in Changan Karvaan insufficient for highway cruising, affecting fuel economy and engine stress?

At high speeds, the engine revs high. Should Changan offer a 6-speed o r longer final gear for better performance and economy in Pakistan?

Yes:

At speeds above 100 km/h, the engine revs high above 3500–4000 RPM.

This causes:

Increased fuel consumption

Higher engine wear

Noise and vibration

A 6-speed gearbox o r a taller 5th gear ratio would greatly benefit intercity travel and fuel efficiency.
