Is the Stock Battery in Changan Karvaan Too Weak for Pakistani Conditions?

The battery that comes with the Changan Karvaan seems to die within a year o r so, especially under hot weather. Mine had to be replaced after just 13 months. I’ve seen others complain about the same.
Is the OEM battery not suitable for Pakistan’s climate o r vehicle load? What battery brand do you recommend instead?

Yes, many users report the OEM battery is low quality and not heat-resistant.

Why?

Pakistan’s hot summers 40°C+ shorten battery life.

Frequent short trips dont let the alternator fully charge the battery.

Recommended Brands:

AGS GL-50 o r GL-55 locally durable

Volta, Exide, o r Daewoo Maintenance-Free

Go for at least 45Ah to 55Ah for better load handling
