Widespread neglect:

Many owners are unaware that DCT fluid must be changed.

Wrong fluid e.g., ATF used instead of DCT-specific oil has caused:

Overheating

Gear slipping

Premature clutch wear.

Recommended interval: every 40,000–50,000 km, o r sooner in heavy traffic conditions.

Failure to maintain fluid properly is a major cause of DCT problems.
