Is this Normal ? @experts...

Hi, I have a 2003 course and I want to ask you a question ... when I switch on the AC when in idle ... The car slows as rpm comes down and when I turn off the AC at the normal speed is instant .. in the same row when I was driving with AC on, it takes time to pick up and when I turn it off in the middle it's like racing .... What is the problem? is this normal?

when you return to the AC load on the engine increases power thats why you lost. are normal, but the power loss may not be too much.
