Visit Bilal Gunj and beware people there are looters get good bargain before buying anything

Tips to avoid getting ripped off at Bilal Gunj.

1) Appear knowledgeable. Noobs are always sold the worst parts at the highest price. Bilal Gunj is a goldmine for old parts but it also has fool's gold. Your outlook will determine what you're sold.

2) Being well dressed shows that you're a noob. Old shalwar kamiz will do, the dirtier the better. Otherwise you can also settle for an old t-shirt with jeans.

3) Don't wander around looking left and right. That shows you've never been there before and makes you a prime target. Instead stop at one shop and ask for directions to the shop where you can find the parts you need.

4) When you hold a part, don't hold it like you're holding it for the first time. For example when buying headlights see if the seals are intact, look for cracks, instead of looking at the front first. Again the idea is to appear like an expert.

5) Don't buy the first part that the shopkeeper hands to you. Ask him to show you several and select one of them after checking each.

6) Ask the shopkeeper some technical questions it doesn't matter which. Doesn't even matter if it is related to cars. You just need to show them that you know more than them.

7) Push for a warranty, even if it is for a few days and get it in writing from them.

Happy shopping
