K series LSD -N20, ahad technical guys

i know this might be a very noobish and a very simple question but i just want to confirm this. Can a normal k series tranny be modified, i mean can you attach a OBX JDM helical lsd to the tranny and make it as a LSD tranny ? for example the tranny that n20 has which is a k20a3 tranny. can you fit this to the tranny and make it an LSD ? what are the advantages and disadvantages of manually doing this (if it can be done) over an orignal LSD tranny e.g that comes with the type R. Thanks.

base rsx tranny can be made lsd by installing one,people usually get the k20a lsd and install it,some other people get the quaif and all,its all about their needs,some people prefer 6speed lsd and some build their 5speed with lsd.

but yes u can fit base rsx with lsd,even i saw some poeple fitting b16/b18 lsd into the k-series tranny on the net.
