KIA Stonic overheating and coolant smell – is it a radiator crack o r hose problem?

I drive a 2021 KIA Stonic in Karachi, and recently the engine has been overheating slightly, and I can smell coolant when I stop the car. There’s also some moisture near the front grille area. A local mechanic suggested the radiator might have a hairline crack o r the hose may be leaking. Are radiator issues common with the Stonic in Pakistan? What should I check first before replacing parts?
