Knight Rider to hit the silver screen

Any Knight Rider fans around here?

Reuters reports that a celluloid version of Knight Rider will begin production next year, brought to you by Weinstein Co. and original series creator/writer Glen Larson.

Nevermind the fact that there's no actor in place to play the role of Michael Knight (What, David Hasselhoff's too old? Never!).

But that's the least of the creators' worries -- where's a 2007 Pontiac Firebird when you need one? Oh wait, here's one.

i used to be a kid in the 80's... still remember waiting every week for a whole week for the next episode of knight rider to come on ptv (in those days there was only 1 tv channel for those members who are too young to remember those days). i can't wait to see the movie. my other favorite used to be airwolf but i think i always preferred knight rider.
