Knocking.. where to look?

Knocking.. where to look?

My mehran has been acting up strangely, again that is. It knocks almost every time when it is started up, but runs really good. Almost no knocking when being driven. Timing has been set today along with tappets but it still does that, haven't talked to the mechanic yet, but, I want to know what should be the 'area of interest'. I'm guessing the timing belt? Maybe its missing a teeth or two? Any idea / suggestions?

Also it takes a long time for it to start up with out pressing the accelerator. When the accelerator is pushed, its starts up in a heartbeat! while knocking for a second. Ideas, suggestions? Tappets are set. Timing has been set (fiddling with the distributor).. while haven't checked the timing belt.. runs good, idles good..

And why does my Mehran EAT engine mountings? I got them changed like two or three months before, they are gone again.

The fault is because of two reasons:

1 - Timing belt problem
2 - If not timing belt then there is some deep engine problem, you better work on it as it will only increase day by day. Take it so suzuki and get the engine inspection done.
