Land Rover Defender 90 w/o Engine Buy

I am considering customizing and modifying a Defender to my liking. I am not satisfied with the engine capability of the Defender, but am sure impressed by its offroad handling. Hence, the differentials, suspensions, steering, and all would stay but the engine would need to be replaced, preferably with a 6 Cyl 200 HP Turbo Diesel EFI engine. I have a limited budget so make me an economical offer. I dont mind a dented or rusted body pannels, as eventually I maybe replacing them with fiber glass. So I wont be picky if it is not spick and span. The frame / chassis has to be in good condition along with the other mechanicals. Preferably an OBDII compatable engine.

Upgrade your intercooler and sort out your fueling. DO NOT increase the boost. the 300TDI engine is not good to tune in terms of increasing boost.

If you really want a landy with power, buy a series and stick in a V8.
