Legal Implications of an Engine Swap

Hi There

Can anyone please tell me what are the legal implications involved in car conversions? i.e. Engine swaps, color change of car.. etc.etc. as now there are these new computerised # plates which store the above said info of the car on the RIFD chip. So for example, imagine the look on the face of the cops when their chip reading devices telling them they are looking at an Suzuki FX when they are really looking at an Enzo Ferrari!!LOL

Any info would be appreciated specially from people who have done conversions themselves. Thanks.

rs 200 to get new engine number entered in registeration book. and to avoid queues add some more as commission of agent and you are done.
to update record is their responsiblity you get a stamped proof of engine change on ur registeration book.
