Lowered ae-101 corolla

Lowered ae-101 corolla

Past few days, i was busy lowering my ae-101 (so called ee-100 in Pakistan). I got a TRD suspension setup from a contact . all 4 hard springs and hard frt/rear shocks. The rear is balanced with front , car doesnt roll out anymore at speed turns, going through a turn is just right going straight. Bumpy ride. 205/40/17 wheels are about two fingers from side fender. As the exhaust pipe is designed to stay away from car.. its quite close the ground now.

rear tires are kept on slight negative camber, while frt are straight.

so finally the day i was waiting for...great news and you cant go wrong with TRD.

as you said yourself and correctly so, you will improve handling..specially cornering...but you will compromise the ride comfort but who cares for that..haha

my advice is...just monitor camber wear on the rear tires closely...springs take around a month to settle...did you get a full coilover set (damping and height adjustable) or just springs and shocks and had them installed afterward?

camber (if too much) can eat into your tires....there is a trick i can tell you how to correct the rear one without spending literally...anything...its called the washer trick but lets wait to see how ur set up looks like.
