LSD...Pros & Cons

and no, i dont mean lysergic acid diethylamide.

Can anyone tell me some pros and cons of a limited slip differential?
Using one in a daily drive, useful or useless?
Is there any point in geting one in a front wheel drive car?
Keep in mind the daily runner side of the story.
Does the fuel comsuption increase after powering both tyres?
Kindly throw some light on it.

i felt difference driving up from either side of driveway.. before car used to stop coming up from right side but now it easily drives up from any side ichoose ofcourse i have to mantain slow speed so underneath car doesnt scratch hard. plus no sideways drag in acceleration.

its not good as some jeep live axle but its better than having nothing. buy a modified gearbox from outside country or choose from list of yr engine's factory assembled lsd gearbox for import.
