Flushing a manual transmission involves replacing the old transmission fluid with new fluid to improve its performance and longevity. Here are the general steps for flushing a manual transmission:

Locate the drain and fill plugs: Consult your vehicles manual to find the drain and fill plugs for the transmission. They are usually located on the bottom of the transmission case.

Drain the old fluid: Place a container under the drain plug and remove it to drain the old fluid. Be sure to dispose of the old fluid properly.

Refill the transmission: Once the old fluid is drained, replace the drain plug and fill the transmission with new fluid through the fill plug. Use the type of fluid recommended by the vehicles manufacturer.

Run the vehicle: Start the engine and shift through each gear to circulate the new fluid throughout the transmission.

Check the fluid level: With the engine still running, check the fluid level using the dipstick. Adjust the level as necessary.

It is important to note that some vehicles may require additional steps o r special equipment to flush the manual transmission. If you are unsure about how to flush your specific transmission, consult a mechanic o r refer to your vehicles manual.
