does any one know where the B24/15 (rotary stored speed and lateral acceleration sensor is located in an ML.

what have you done? that sensor (manufacturered by bosch)is for lateral acceleration and yaw rate, have you been messing with the ESP? i know that on the W211 it is located next to the transmission on the inside part of the transmission tunnel (under the plastic of the console). the location in the 163 HAS to be in the same place since it senses rotational speed of the vehicle about the vertical axis & lateral acceleration.

what code are you getting?
S1042? caused by fault in CAN communication with B24/15
S1120? caused by short circuiting wires
S1142? caused by short cuircuiting the chain of B24/15
S1149? caused by fault in voltage of B24/15
S1504? caused by a deactivated system due to low voltage to B24/15

this is all I personally know about it but if you need more info i'll then ask my ML counterpart on one of the benz forums but honestly i think they'll be of less.
