Mobil Synthetic Engine Oil and Irridium Plugs

Please mention any dis-advantages or problems associated with using the above two in a 2003 VTi Oriel Civic (Manual). As far as I know the Oil will give me 15,000km and using the plugs will improve fuel economy as well as pickup.

I need some expert opinion here

this has been discussed a zillion times on the forum
wish u did some search.
i use fully synthetic oil in my car and throw it out at 3-3.5 k mileage max.
using iridium in the other car. they rock (Y) but if car is on CNG, use 4 tip, they are better
