Modifications / Stages Defined

Hello,
I have a suzuki Baleno model 1999. and i have heard there are some stages of vehicle modifications. Some terms are Air intakes, exaust hot wires etc.
Can any one really define what is a modification, whats a stage 1, 2 or any. What are the effects, which vehicle can be modified. What are the advantages and disadvantages ?

yup u can....stage 1 means 1st level improvement and so on

it comes in all ways...like engine modification,braking,body,suspension wise,weight wise

u can do stage 1 on yr stock engine....but for good high power modification u have to get a sporst engine or those who r ment to be for racing

advantage....more power and speed....

disadvantage....more mony spent...and more and more and more
