Muffler Mitshibitshi s10

This is a Mitshibitshi s10 muffler, its pretty small with a 2.25 dia and 2 small baffles built inside.I believe its a diesel engine muffler from properties it shows with initial torque

. I removed the end off it to fix it just before my car's exhaust pipe end muffler.

it slows down faster reving at high rpm say, at continuous acceleration with accelerator floored overall acceleration is comparitively slow

but it adds up torque once acceleartor pressed initially
even when engine running at say 4000 rpm stable you floor it this thing adds its own torque.

my guess is it stores some engine exhaust gases in its chambers which help in backpressure.
