Multigrade Oil

Multigrade Oil

Is it worth to use Multigrade oil in hot climate like in Pakistan especially in engins of old technology like Mehran, Alto etc? I think Multigrade is for Cold climate where in winter temp are very low near frezing point so at low temp the vicosity is also less in multigrade oil so its easy to crank the engin and oil can circulate easily in engin when engin is cold. Using multigrade oil in our condition we are wasting money.

@roonjha ur right i m agree with ur opinion as i experienced this thing.i added the multigrade oil of well known company in my master forland truck but i have got a very bad experience as our driver told that the engine blows out just after 100 kms,and remember one thing that time the total kms done by the truck was just b/w 1600 & 1700. after that i wrote letters to the head of that company but its a different story.
