My car wont start in petrol

My car wont start in petrol

i have a problem with my civic 89 when ever i move the button from cng either to neutral r petrol the car engine just stops like it ran out of fuel the petrol does not seem to be coming to the engine it had this problem b4 then i got it checked it from a cng work shop abt a month ago they change wat they called a petrol valve in the engine compartment for 800rs and after that it was working fine as i finished up the taank i filled up cng and put it in cng for the last month r so it was runing on cng then i recently filled up the tank again u know for some racing stuff but as i tried to put it in petrol the car just stops i dont know why is it doing again i checked all the petrol pipes in engine and there isn't a drop of petrol in it but when it had this prob b4 the petrol was coming in the lines to the engine till a valave b4 carborator so wat it can be some 1 suggested dat i should go wid some high speed on cng and then put it in petrol in this way the engine should suck up petrol strongly and will start.

so plz any1 having solution to my problem coz its embarassing to run out of cng on middle road wid no petrol

Do check your fuel filter - It could be choked/blocked. Also see if you Fuel Pump is working i.e. sucking the fuel in to supply to carbourator.
