My Oshan X7 window rolls down slightly and goes back up – what’s going on?

Sometimes when I try to close the driver-side window, it rolls up halfway and then rolls back down automatically as if its detecting an obstacle. But theres nothing in the way. I’ve heard about anti-pinch sensors malfunctioning — is this what’s happening here? Any advice on how to fix this in Pakistan?

This is typically caused by the anti-pinch safety feature that prevents injury by detecting resistance when the window is closing.

Reasons it misfires:

Sensor malfunction due to dust, electrical interference, o r weak motor.

Window friction/resistance can trick the system into thinking there’s an obstruction.

Improper calibration after battery change o r ECU reset.

Fix options:

Try the same window recalibration process as mentioned earlier open, hold, close, hold.

Clean and lubricate the window channels to reduce resistance.

If the issue persists, a diagnostic scan at the dealership might be needed to reset the anti-pinch sensor.
