My Xplod PRE

Hi Everyone,
Today my Sony Xplod mp3 stopped working, it is playing some mp3 discs very smoothly but it is showing ERROR on some other discs :s , i tried to play those discs several times , they were loaded sometimes but tracks were not being played properly, in simple words, they were SKIPPING very badly, and yes.. I bought 3 new cd's from market to check the problem, they were running properly on my computer but the same problem with PRE

what should be the problem? Does it require cleaning?? or wht.... ??

i have a sony explode cd player n my cd's skip too...i have tried a cd cleaner but it had no effect...its 2 yrs old n has been giving problems from the 1st day,but not all cd's...as it was barely noticeable until now,i didn't bother to get it checked up
