Need help about auto gears

i have a kia sportage 95 with toyota 3c and auto gears installed .A month before the engine got busted and i changed it with 2.0d . now the problem i am facing is that the vehicle is not going over 60 . i have tried to solve the problem by adjusting the wire which comes from the gears to the butterfly or accilater in the engine.
what d you think what is the problem and how to sole this
i am in karachi
