Need Help - Batteries

How do you connect 2 batteries..

12V + 12V=24Volts

and

12V + 12V=12Volts

Need diagram please.

Hello dear, as you know, the typical 12V battery and 24 volts when you then (+ of the first battery to - the second battery) plug with a wire, then you have, so that - the first used for ground and the + of the battery used to send 24Volt supply is simply a series connection of batteries.
