Need help regarding enclosure

Dear Friends

I want to make a custom enclosure for my Lanzar HRW124D (12"). As recommended in user's manual, for a ported enclosure correct size should be between 1.5 to 1.75 cu ft. Below is the calculation which I have made.

Width: 14" (12.5" from inside)
Height: 14" (12.5" from inside)
Depth: 20" (18.5" from inside)
Port diameter: 4" (as recommended by lanzar)
Port Length: 7" (tuned freq 60Hz)

From the above calculation it makes total 1.67cu ft volume.

Please see the below image about my idea and tell me whether its ok or you guys have any better option?

AND what if I go with 1.25 cu ft sealed enclosure? Which will be better a ported or a sealed one?

Specs of Subwoofer and Amplifier:

Subwoofer: Lanzar HRW124D (500W RMS, 4Ohm + 4Ohm)
Amplifier: Boss CX1100M (Mono-Block, Output: 500W RMS at 2Ohm)

Thanks in advance

Just a query from u:-
Isn't 7" port is too much for u...
60hz is too much loud....Are u a loud frequencies listener

BTW,Your amp and sub are made for each other....Both having same RMS ratings
