1. 50 Litres
2. 12-16 km/ltr
3. 150,000 km if properly maintained

These are conservative figures. Based on realistic conditions. Heavy traffic jams, dusty conditions, hot climate, lapses in maintenance procedures, lack of OEM parts, low quality fuel etc.

What you say is right but only in idealistic conditiions. Its very rare to achieve 20 km/ltr in a 2.0 D under normal driving conditions. The diesl fuel available in Pakistan has high Sulpher content of 0.9%. In Eurpe it is 0.03 %. In these conditions we expect more engine wear tear than normal.

BTW a gentle language with more persuasive logics is appreciated by everybody and helps in construcutive dialogue. Thanks for the correction if you still think I am wrong.
