Headers- sure go ahead. (why didn't you do this before?)
Btw did you get a muffler or an exhaust?

Here's my advice:
4-2-1 headers, 2.5" downpipe, some axelback or catback exhaust. Get some form of engine management like AFC or VFC.
And if you really want a turbo then forget headers and stuff and go for an edelbrock turbo, they're available for your car but are expensive.
