Salamz , hope u guys are doing fine ..

i have a question to ask ...

is it Wise to buy a Car with 1 lac K`s on the clock ?? even if the engine is in very good condition and is ok`d by the mechanic ???

i have read somewhere kay , 1 lac 50k`s kay baad engine starts to die ??
i need some explanation on this ..
perhaps clearification ...

if an engine has been taken good care of it's not uncommen for them to last even longer.

Good care means regular oil changes at correct intervals along with other fluids (transmissin oil, brake fluid etc).

At least the seller was honest enough not to put the mialge back on this car, most people put the clock back by a a couple of 10,000's so at least you know the original milage.

I an engine is thrashed it's not unlikely that it get worn out at even 20,000km.

If a good mechanic has checked and passed the car you should be ok, as long as you trust the mechanic.

1st thing to do woudl be to change the oil (engine & trnasmission/gear), fluids (steering & brake) filters (all) and plugs regardless if the owner claims to have already done so.
