New Audio System in Civic 2005

I have Civic Exi 2005 and i want to get some good audio system in it. At present, it has Kenwood Deck with Kenwood CD Changer (which is company fitted).
Experts please help!

changing the head unit wont effect the sound too much.
i would upgrede front speakers with some nice pair from alpine, polk audio etc first.
